For the Children
I come from the South to this Northern land
To join my kin in the quest for Unity
For no matter what the colour of our skin
We are all one family
I am a child of much abuse
And my heart bleeds for the children who
Have been mistreated, and misused
And don't know what to do
And so I pledge my life this day
To do everything in my power
To teach the children how to pray
In this their darkest hour
