The Graces (Charities)
Zeus begat with Eurynome
Three daughters with such comely faces
And demeanour so delightsome
They were known as the three Graces
(Or sometimes as the Charities)
And loved for their idiosyncrasies
Aglaia who was very bright
Ate tagliatelle every night
Euphrosyne’s Joy was to chew
Frozen jellies topped with glue
And Thalia, whose name means bloom
Refused to eat in the same room
As her half-sister/cousin/namesake
Being una-Muse-d by custard pancake
