When the blood goes spurta-lurta-lurta-ling
Just send conscripts please
Oh send conscripts please
As we go escalata-lata-lata-ling
Send more conscripts please

And protest 'gainst drafting
Light up a draft card
And dispute your call

Advertisers have known for years that the best way for a company to increase its sales is to come up with a jingle which will get stuck in people's heads. This has two effects. Firstly the product is constantly in the victims' consumer's mind. Much cheaper than repeated media ads. The second is that the brain power used in keeping the jingle playing, reduces that available for critical analysis: The better the jingle the worse less good the product can be.
It surprises us that political organisations of all types and persuasions have not exploited use of the jingle. Here are a few examples of what to expect if they do.
