Goin' Down
Ch: He wouldn’t be standing on the corner
Not for all the tea in China
If he knew what was goin’ down
There he was standing on the corner
Sticking out like the thumb on Little Jack Horner
And everyone knew he was new in town
And he didn’t have a clue what was goin’ down
One of the kids made a lightning pass
'If you know what’s good you’ll move your ass'
But he just stared back like a wide-eyed clown
And he didn’t have a clue what was goin’ down
It was Bloods on one side; Spooks on the other
Calling out names that start with Mother
Then from somewhere to the left a whistle blew
And the rumble started like they always do
Well I never seen a man who moved so quick
In his hand appeared a silver stick
And he Kung Fu’d and Lee’d as he spun around
And the Bloods and Spooks was goin’ down
When the dust settled he was standing there
And the stick had gone - I don’t know where
And he said to the bodies lying on the ground
'You better mind your manners when I’m around'
Now the Bloods and Spooks have drifted away
Couldn’t meet the price they’d been asked to pay
And anyone can stand on any corner in town
Cause one man knew what was goin’ down
