With Arlene Hillaire-Trouse (Lummi Elder) We came down to the Stommish Grounds To sing and dance and drum We sent the message all around For everyone to come The colours there were rich and rare A rainbow shining bright The spirits of the people there Red, yellow, black, and white We came down to the Stommish Grounds To create Unity To prove that this whole world around Is one big family Some travelled far, and some lived near But everybody came And if just one had not been here It wouldn't have been the same We came down to the Stommish Grounds With drum, and dance, and song To give the Universal sound A path to flow along And now it's time for us to part And tread our separate ways In four years time bring back your hearts To build more happy days
