Don't Send in the Clones
I knew a girl
Wanted a thrill
Thought she’d have a whirl
At skiing downhill
She sideswiped a burl
Ended in hospital
Staph made her toes curl
Now they’re reading her will
One of my mates
Says he saw you
Exposing your privates
Last week at the Zoo
And you urged the primates
To ape your revue
Excess cyclamates
Must have loosened a screw
Science they claim
Is the saviour of Man
Heals the halt and the lame
And increases life span
But I think it’s a shame
When we touch up God’s plan
No-one wants the blame
When it all hits the fan
Dolly the sheep
Was created a clone
Got her genes from the heap
That was labelled ‘pre-owned’
She died in her sleep
Of a ‘pre-aged’ neurone
So Little Bo Peep
Is still waiting alone
Would you want new bones
That were grown on a rat
Who knows what pheromones
You would have to combat
Protecting your cojones
From each passing cat
Don’t send in the clones
Let’s leave it at that
